Student Council

Do you ever want to have a say in what happens at Smitha? If so, the Smitha Student Council is for you. For starters, the student council has about 10 members that are elected by every student in Smitha every year. The main purpose of the council is to have a group of students that have a voice, as well as to make decisions for Smitha students. Although they can propose anything, it must be approved by Mr. Salter. To get the ideas to Mr. Salter, the council discusses the issue, then they give the idea to the president who proposes it to the principal. Currently the council is hoping to improve the library and put-up motivational posters.
